Milan fans are overwhelmingly frustrated by the decision to postpone their Serie A match against Bologna, originally scheduled for Saturday, especially as other events were allowed to take place in the Emilia-Romagna region.
Lega Serie A has officially confirmed that the match between Bologna and Milan at the Dall’Ara has been postponed due to extreme weather warnings and will have to be played at a later date, with the first available date for both teams being January 2025.
Many Milan fans were particularly affected as the team will now be without suspended duo Theo Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders for next week’s game against league leaders Napoli rather than 12th-placed Bologna.
Milan fans are wondering why other events in Bologna have not been canceled
Increasingly frustrating for Rossoneri fans is the fact that other events were allowed to take place in Bologna on Friday and Saturday.
The Bologna Boxing Night at the Unipol Arena in Bologna was allowed to take place on Friday evening, but will take place behind closed doors.
La Gazzetta dello Sport also points out that a major automobile and motorcycle exhibition called Auto e Moto d’Epoca at the Bologna Fiere has not been canceled either.
