For someone who has been so vocal in recent months, it was surprising that Patrick also revealed that it was the first time in her life that she had voted, despite being 42 years old.

“I voted for the first time today. 🗳️,” Patrick’s post began.

“I made a rule for myself that if I didn’t vote, I couldn’t have an opinion on the outcome because I didn’t earn that right. Not this time.”

Without much shock, Patrick revealed who she voted for and why: “I voted for @realdonaldtrump and can’t wait for him to make America great again!”

As expected, anti-Trump supporters expressed harsh criticism of Patrick in replies to her post.

At the same time, however, pro-Trump supporters will no doubt admire her now and throughout the campaign for her very public stance.
